Every ingot undergoes rigorous fire-assay testing to achieve a verified crystalline composition of 91.6% pure gold, alloyed only with hypoallergenic noble metals. This ensures the warm, unmistakable radiance that has characterized imperial Indian jewellery across dynastic eras.

A jewel's soul resides in the quality of its light. We source unheated Burmese rubies, vivid green Zambian emeralds, and syndicate uncut polki diamonds. Every brilliant-cut diamond of 0.30ct and above is independently graded by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) or International Gemological Institute (IGI).

The grand temple ornaments of South India require an ancient technique known as Nakashi, where sheets of 22KT gold are chased and repoussé-embossed by hand using miniature iron punches over a pitch-lac bed. In our North Indian ateliers, master jadau artisans fold 24KT pure gold foil (kundan) around uncut polki gems, securing them without a single drop of chemical glue.

Upwards of 180 artisan hours are invested into each bridal necklace before it is deemed worthy of the Kanakamahal royal mark.
